About The Event
The Peski Kids Picnic: Join R A Spratt for a ‘bear hunt’ (aka treasure hunt!) to celebrate the release of The Peski Kids: Bear in the Woods! Come along for a bookstore hunt and craft activities, followed by a high-energy author talk from the hilarious R A Spratt, author of Nanny Piggins, Friday Barnes and The Peski Kids series. Light catering provided.
ABOUT THE BOOK:
No one believes April saw an enormous bear in the woods. No one thinks Fin didn’t break the Cat Lady’s foot. No one wants to know why Loretta bought Dad new underwear. And no one listens to Joe, because he never has much to say. The Peski Kids are up to their eyeballs in trouble, and it’s all their dog’s fault.
Now the Mayor is watching them like a hawk. She won’t let anyone ruin Currawong’s Daffodil Festival. That’s fine, the Peski Kids want to blend in, the only problem is . . . they are really terrible at it.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
R.A. Spratt is the author of The Peski Kids, Friday Barnes and The Adventures of Nanny Piggins. In her previous life she was a television writer. Unlike the Peski kids, R.A. Spratt never fights with her brother, but only because he moved to Hong Kong to get away from her. R.A. lives in Bowral, NSW, where she has three chickens, two goldfish and a dog. She also has a husband and two daughters.
