About the Publisher

Robert Watkins has worked for over 20 years in the Australian book industry as a bookseller, sales representative, publicity manager, marketing manager and now publisher. He publishes literary fiction and narrative non-fiction, with a focus on fresh, contemporary voices with a real ‘issues-based’ edge. He also publishes a select list of illustrated non-fiction titles, from trend-led diet books to illustrated gift titles. 

Just some of the award-winning authors Robert has published include Maxine Beneba Clarke, Inga Simpson, Michael Mohammed Ahmad, Claire G. Coleman, Maeve Marsden, J.P. Pomare, Sarah Schmidt, Garry Disher, and Sally Rugg.
