About The Event

A reading and conversation on poetry's sound, tone, surprise and vulnerability. Two distinguished poets at different stages of their careers will discuss poetic craft.  How does poetry adapt to our changing world, and to the poet's life; and how does it connect to cultures and communities? What is the value and role of mentorship in the writing path?

Belle Ling (Nebulous Vertigo) and Judith Beveridge (Tintinnabulum) will read from their recent collections and be joined in conversation with Michelle Cahill.

Our event space is wheelchair-accessible via a stair lift. For other accessibility questions, contact events@betterread.com.au.
