Life Story Writing with Patti Miller

This is a three hour class offered by author Patti Miller, Australia’s most experienced teacher of life writing. The workshop is designed to introduce the delights and skills of memoir writing to anyone who wants to write the stories of his or her own life. It is an inspiring class with reading, discussion and writing exercises in an encouraging, creative and friendly atmosphere. It will help you get started on your life story and help you to write your memories in a lively, engaging way.

Patti Miller is the author of eight books: Writing Your Life, The Memoir Book, Writing True Stories (all best-selling writing texts), Child (a novel), The Last One Who Remembers (memoir), Whatever The Gods Do (memoir), and the prize-winning The Mind of a Thief and Ransacking Paris (narrative non-fiction). Her ninth book, The Joy of High Places will be released in August 2019. She also writes for national newspapers and magazines and has taught memoir workshops around Australia and in Paris for twenty-five years. Nearly 50 people she has mentored have been commercially published.
