I Am Lupe Book Launch

Come and celebrate the launch of I Am Lupe with author Sela Ahosivi-Atiola, in collaboration with Sweatshop Literacy Movement, with Dr Randa Abdel-Fattah officially launching, and Winnie Dunn hosting.

I Am Lupe is a powerful picture book with themes of self-acceptance, self-love and diversity.

When a little girl with brown skin and curly hair notices she is different from her classmates, she asks her mother what she is. Her mother's answer is a celebration of all the wonderful differences that make each of us who we are.

Lupe is a daughter. She is a big sister. She is a friend. She is smart. She is fearless. She is funny. She is beautiful. She is enough.

This is a free event, but please RSVP so that we can manage attendee numbers.

There will be food and drinks available. All catering will be vegetarian/halal.
