NJ BATTY is a natural performer and storyteller. He has always used creativity to enhance the human experience. He is a writer, singer, actor, painter, philosopher and film producer. He has written and produced multiple international award-winning short films. He currently resides in Sendai, Japan.
JULZ JANZEN has forever been seeking solace in the infinite world of creativity. Music, dance, acting, painting, sculpture, writing, photography—no form of artistic expression has ever been off limits. He has written and directed multiple award-winning short films. He currently resides in Adelaide, Australia.
Together they have recorded albums, made films, and most recently co-authored ‘Hotel Lobby Stories’ which has been dubbed ‘the only philosophy book you’ll ever need!’ Their first feature film is currently in development.
As a way to manage their ongoing creative endeavours, they formed Therapeutic Discomfort—ThD is a dynamic and multi-faceted creative collective.
