About The Event
About the Event
With its roots in Death Cafés and salons, the Death Over Dinner movement aims to bring about cultural change around death by harnessing the power of commensality – that eating together makes social bonds. As the founders note: ‘The dinner table is the most forgiving place for difficult conversation. The ritual of breaking bread creates warmth and connection, and puts us in touch with our humanity.’
Join us for an light supper and interactive discussion that will show you a whole new way to think about death.
Our event space is wheelchair accessible via a stair lift. For any other accessibility questions, please email events@betterread.com.au.
About the Book
